The TL810 is a hodgepodge of functions; kinda like a unified northbridge/southbridge PC chipset, optimized for digital video purposes.

There doesn't seem to be separate marketing sheet for the 810; the TL811 sheet claims to be about the "TL81x" chips, but doesn't ever explain the differnces.

It includes a memory controller, a PCI bus controller, an IDE controller, a local bus controller, a SysAD? bus controller for the CPU, two dedicated MPEG transport stream inputs, one dedicated transport stream output, one switchable transport stream input/output; two(? text says "multiple", block diagram shows 2, 3 would make more sense) demuxers, and descramblers.

Glueless interfaces for busses used for 'front-end' input, including I2C, SmartCard?, GPIO and UART.
